M. Mezanur Rahman
Chairman
Holding the position of Chairman at Shugandha Group since 2019, Mezanur Rahman is a dynamic and influential leader. Born in 1965 in Jhalakati, he has built a diverse portfolio across agro, real estate, garments, and shipping sectors.
As the second son-in-law of former Chairman K.M. Maja, his connection to the organization is deeply rooted. His leadership extends internationally, serving as Director at M.Khan Group and holding key roles in global companies such as Sharafat Unity Corporation Malaysia and Embun Resorts Malaysia.
His strategic vision and expertise have played a vital role in driving the sustained growth and success of Shugandha Group.
K. Nazeyruddin
Vice Chairman
Born in 2002, K. Nazeyruddin represents the fourth generation of leadership and is the third grandson of K.M. Maja.
Educated in Malaysia and the UK, he joined the group as a director in 2020 following his grandfather’s passing. His involvement spans across multiple companies within the group.
With youthful energy and a legacy-driven mindset, he contributes to the continued evolution and future vision of Shugandha Group.
K. Zillur Rahman
Managing Director
Born in 1972 in Jhalakati, Zillur Rahman plays a pivotal leadership role within Shugandha Group.
As the fourth son-in-law of K.M. Maja and a descendant of founder A.G. Gab Khan, he carries a strong legacy connection.
Since joining as Managing Director in 2011, his extensive experience and leadership have significantly contributed to the company’s growth, shaping its long-term strategic success.
K. Saifullah
Director
Born in 1962, K. Saifullah represents the third generation of business leadership within Shugandha Group.
Beyond his corporate role, he is actively involved in politics and maintains affiliations with various national and international trade bodies.
His dynamic leadership extends beyond business, contributing to socio-economic development both locally and globally.
K. Tajrin Tania
Director
Born in 1976, Tajrin Tania is the fourth daughter of K.M. Maja and a key figure within Shugandha Group.
Since becoming a director in 2020, she has played a vital role in shaping the company’s direction with a balance of legacy values and modern insights.
Her leadership continues to support the group’s sustainable growth and generational excellence.
Jamil R. Chowdhury
Executive Director
With over 40 years of professional experience, Jamil R. Chowdhury brings global expertise to Shugandha Group.
Born in 1956 in Narayanganj, he completed his undergraduate studies at Dhaka University and earned a Master’s degree in Management from the University of Pennsylvania.
Having served in multiple multinational organizations, he joined the group in 2020, contributing significantly to strategic development and corporate growth.
